what type of resistors

i just ordered green and red led's what type of resistors do i need
i have 10-ohm resistors will they work? plz help a poor nub like me   :cry2: :beg:

Resistors and calculating them tutorial entry...  Quite well written, but I may have gone too in depth on some things, you should be able to  get enough information from it to successfully figure out what you need on your own.  Give a man a fish, he eats for a day; teach a man to fish, he eats for life.

I totally agree with T3KN1K4L, you want to know about this then learning, rather than being told, really is the best way, the maths isn't the hardest to understand by any means and it means in future that you can get on with things slightly quicker due to the fact that you can figure this stuff out for yourself, plus the feeling of self satisfaction will be much greater

MATH is hard to understand if you are semi-retard lol, i realy do understand half the stuff on here if it wasnt for all those awsome tuts i would have not attempted any of the mod lol, see i need so know where things go ahead a time before i get all the parts so i know were to put them. im just asking for a little help nothing big
