simple mouse mod

ok well i had some leds layin around and i was bored so i decided to mod my mouse
i just put 1 led in but the interest part is its a laser mouse and when the red light is dim, the led is on, but when the mouse is in use the led turns off

i just found 2 contacts and wired it lol
actualy i found these 2 points that were like 5 volts but i didnt have a reister so i wired the fround to a fuse (not sure if that was a good idea but o-well) i can take a pic of the board if you want
btw i just used a 0603 led
