Got a free laptop!

To make the story short, I won a scholarship from Dell for any Laptop priced up to $1000 before tax, INCLUDING ALL SALE PRICES!
Now, add on my $450 student discount because my UNI has a program with Dell and I got a $1500 pc for free!  I love being smart! 
It ships out on the 5th of May!

Its an Inspiron 1525 with a Core 2 Duo T8300 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB/3MB cache), 2GB Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz, High Resolution, glossy wide screen 15.4 inch display, 250GB HDD and a wireless N network card.  It also comes with a 9 cell battery (85Whr Lithium Ion) and a built in 2mp webcam for pr0n keeping in touch with family and friends.

Yeah I know, I'm still waiting to hear back on some more scholarships.
It's actually going to be profitable to go to college, I'm getting more in scholarships than the tuition...

wow your really lucky. i have a comp that was 800 when i bought it. its a celeron, 512mb, 80gb hard drive  comp. its a dell got it when it first came out

Had to write an essay stating my knowledge of computers as well as what I want to do when I grow up and how I will relate the two.  It turned out being like 8 pages long because I went into every detail possible

My 2.0GHz/2GB/200GB/15.4" Sony Vaio cost me £700 hard saved cash. I love it, it has a/b/g/n Wifi, a 1.3MP camera, Vista Home Premium, a Blu-Ray drive, bluetooth, 3 USBs, but one downside, 2.1hrs battery life.

Congrats Reaper, now when you go to school don't blow your scolership buy partying to hard. I didn't have a scolership when I went to school but man the partys! Oh that brings me back, anyway back on topic. Not alot of people get full scolerships, I guess doing your homework at midnight pays off. Maybe thats what I did wrong. I used to do my homework as soon as I got home
