Buying LED's

Ok u guys, i'm going to do the sound reactive LED's but i don't know which LED's to buy, also i would like
to know the mcd that i need and is 200-250 mcd too much or to little, i have another link to some that output 110 mcd, plz tell me which ones to use as i am confused by their specifications. Thank you

200-250 MCD should be alright for blue, but it might be a bit dull. 110 MCD is too low for my liking. On my PSP I have some Red ones that output 750 MCD and some Yellow ones that output 900 MCD

So 200-250 should be normal then?

ok would i have to worry about them burning out, cuz i'm doing the sound reactive mod directly to speakers, i also have 5 10 Ohm resistors but i don't think i need to use them right?

but i need to know what side is positive and negative

In most cases Blue SMD led's dont burn out when wired straight to the Speakers but there is still a chance they might. To find out what side is + (Positive) and what side is - (Negative), wire up the LED  with two different coloured wires and strip the other ends of the wires and hold them to the speaker and find which way they go to light up the LED, remember this by memorising the colour of the Wire's and which way they go
