i thought someone else posted about a psp tochscreen and if i remeber correctly and it cost 43 dollars i think this on ecost 23 dollars

i dont know i was just crusing the internet for pics and info on the GOW bundle psp and saw that and clicked on it and decided 2 share with everyone enjoy and i hope it can be put 2 good use and actually make the psp have a touch screen

Nobody has a real prototype on a psp touch screen...despite many tries. It works like an analog stick, but just search for psp touch screen on here and see if you can figure something else.

Also, to have the touch screen work, there would have to be a custom firmware made to work with it.

sumhow im doupting he would, he would if sony creates a psp with touch screen but he wouldn't do it just cas 1 or 2 people get POC touch screens running, If you wanting to fully encorperate a touch screen mod learning Cpp or C or sumfing for like ages is probably betting on a better horse. A legend? i don't know what is better than a legend, but you could get some serious money doing that for other people probably.

yeah you could make some money but if he did incorporate it then people would all be doing it so then it would not be a waste on just a couple of people

Last time I looked, he is a soft modder.

We can all "hope" that someone else will do it or us.

Dax will stop coding custom firmwares if he gets hassled by everyone "put this in your next project" all over the world.

yeah i guess ur right vox there is no point in buying it now unless some1 makes a compatible firm ware 2 accept and reconize the touch because i bet that every1 kinda hates browing on the psp because of the way u got 2 enter the web address and if u want 2 post something it would be hard as h**l but its easy on the ds because thats what im using the dsl web browser and its so easy 2 write because of the touch screen and btw what does POC mean

I reckon it is possibal but the time it would take to sort out how to wire it up, develop software and finally build the thing, you'll go get brain rot, lol! let sony do the work, i'm sure they will bring something like this out but hey, if anyone pulls this of then i'll pay to get it done.

yeah well sony needs 2 do that and also do other stuff
1.put a second nub in
2.taks out ac charge so the psp can charge through usb
3.make the psp super fast and have more internal memory
4.CHANGE THE UMD FORMAT
5.make the psp able 2 read all the types of movie formats
6.incorporate some cfw apps like psptube n2 there ofw or just give up and work dax 2 make fw thats people like

no you cant put a touchscreen on a psp...you would need multiple chipsets and a cfw built for that. plus you would need games that were combadible with the touchscreen in order to use it like the ds.

because making something touchscreen like the ds isnt easy and i highly doubt sony will go into the touchscreen market other than pdas and laptops. its just not profitable and mainly expensive. look at the ps3 with the bluray player-its sales sucks

because the bluray raises up the price so i could image seeing a raise in price for a huge lcd touchscreen on the psp
