if you have a PIC16F84A there are 2 hex code to download

X801769-026     COD4-Basic-All-Models

Once you download the HEX file for the right controller need to write the Hex code to the
Pic in order to do that need a programmer which you can buy here

http://www.imagesco.com/microcontroller/pic-programmers.html

Now you ready to play ..

if you don't have a programmer we sell preflash Pic on our wesite you can order that here :

http://wiredinput.com/ShopUSA/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=32

Now if you don't have PIC16F84A that means you did not read the Tutorials
as its stated that the hex files above will only work with PIC16F84A.

Do you have the ASM or C Code Available? I want to play around with modding my controller?

Hi Mike, in your link, would that be a standard 555timer chip ? or would it have to be a chip I need to program ?

Thanks
Mark

The 555 timer is a pre programmed chip which cannot be altered. People use this to do the tri er rapid fire with the help of a NPN transistor creating like a switch that opens and closes with each pulse of the 555 timer. I have created a more advanced macro controller with software I wrote with a pic programmer. The diffreence with a 555 time and a chip you program your self is with the chip you program you can ajust the speed of fire eg ( 30 Ns ) rate of fire ( 3 round burst )...

Hi Can you tell me more about this please.
I have a standard wireless controller and all I want is a basic rapid fire button.
I have just be and got NE555N 8 pin & 7555N (low voltage)from maplin electronincs.

Would either of them be ok, is there a tut. do I need the NPN transitstor? if so were does it go ?

Sorry I am a noob at this. I also have 1k ohm resistors. would I need anything else ?
Many thanks

Sorry, my mistake then.

Would you happen to know if a 555 timer would work, and if so...

What components would I need ?
Is there a tut for a 555 timer rapid fire 360 wireless controller ?

xbox scene has a nice one. It doesnt work for new cg controllers though. But heres a link,
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=643928&st=0

Also, System, you posted 2 files on page 1,
one named COD4-all models

Whats is that? i know its a hex file but for the PIC16F84A?

And, where is the tutorial on hooking this bad boy up?

wait are you the same salincer as on XS?
basically i think what all models means is for all controller boards, also that hex file is only for PIC16F84A. the spitfire is different to rapid fire as the PIC is hooked up to all the buttons on the controller, and so allowing you to program it in different ways and being able to use all the buttons as e.g a special combo.

Has anyone at all figured out everything that you need to program an 8 pin PIC chip and would be willing to share it with me. I want a chip just like the ones that are sold in kits on ebay along with two buttons and some wire. I just want to make the chip for myself rather than paying $30 for it. Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

So this hex file will work as code for this particular chip as rapid fire code...Right? And will it work on COD4 and Halo's. Or will it have to be altered?

Great work, this site is very nice.
