« on: May 16, 2008, 05:35:34 AM »
Hi , So I Have a problem with red LED end LM386 , the red LED are on all the time , I try with blu LED and my mounting work fine.
I think the problem is here :
The red LED ask 1.85V and 0.03A , and the blue LED ask 3.5V and 0.02A ....
what can I do to that LED react as it should sound, changing values resistances? but what values I muste take ? :dntknw:
If someone has already been mounting with red LED , thank for giving me the values he used ... :beg:

Thanks a lot for your answer  :help:

PS : Sorry for my poor english , I'm a froggy

I use 30K resistor for pin2 and 191K for pin3 (+/- 1%), I wire it directly on the LM , my mounting work fine with Blue LEd , with red LED nothing happen LED are all the time ON ....

What the voltage of your LED ?

Thanks but I have already tried to save a resistance of 10 Ohm, 20 Ohm, 60 Ohm .... positive on the base of the LED, but without result.
For the sawp between blue and red , unsolder (??) the red LED and solder the blue LED on the same cable....
