Why don't you get one from www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com ??

Yea I would say Like Custom build your Own. It would be well worth it. could build one cheaper Say put down $1,000 usd and it would be way better than a PC from dell or HP. Not including keyboard mouse speakers  and monitor. But all that extra wold be like 500 usd maybe less I saw a whole set keyboard mouse speakers for 100 usd and a 20" monitor for like 130 on newegg

For the awesome Sigs Thanks goes to: Blazinkaos, Chef Boyardee

Get the acer 22inch model, I have one, as well as Noah.  It beats out my old 19 inch monitor that I paid the same amount for less than 2 years ago not only in color, but brightness and response times.
Here it is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009094

Also, you can build a gaming rig with an 8600 and upgrade when you get some more money.  I built mine for 600 (without a monitor), and I run a quadcore with 2 gigs of gaming ram.  You can make a core 2 duo with 3 and windows XP if you want a budget gamer for about 450-500 and get a better video card when you feel like it.  Personally I would recommend getting a gaming console over a gaming PC if you are on such a short budget however, and get a standard rig.  Hell, I'd consider a rig with an 8600 to be pretty standard with vista, considering how well my setup ran before my upgraded parts and I run Vista Premium 64 Bit

Are you looking for a Gaming PC, or just one that will last you 3-4 years before it starts to stutter?
