Case Help
« on: May 20, 2008, 08:00:02 AM »
Well you guys i got a full case from Coolmods, and it didn't fit my primary PSP but what do you know, it went well on my second PSP cuz of the switches, but when i was putting it all together the damn Faceplate wouldn't close shut from the top right corner of the PSP (R-Trigger) side.

Any ideas?

Nah, that's not the problem wih mine, it just won't close shut, i had to use force to get it to close on the left side but right side would just be extremely off.

bit of a noob check but did you put the faceplate on starting from the top. what mean is angle the faceplace so the top is on first then press the rest down. had the same problem but finally got it to fit.

fair one dude, why don't you use the faceplate? less hassle to fit.

my PSP is missing the bottom screw and the analog moves on its own when i put the clear faceplate on the PSP, cuz it doesn't close shut from the bottom left where the analog is but if i put pressure there it stops moving.

So i'm selling the faceplate and backplate only!, as i sold the UMD door already and i'm keeping the buttons, battery cover and mem. stick cover so if u need clear, hit me up

Ah, i see, well if you had any, you could take some screws from a ps1, ps2 memory card and use one of them. lost two on my phat so i removed the screws from a ps2 mem card and they fit.

ok i did this wth my dx case too, i found it was the little metal bit that holds the analog pad thing when shuting the case try work this peice in with a screw driver so it goes inside and doesn't press down on the thight edging of the case when u are shutting it

same problem, is wut i do is shut the faceplate from the top, not the bottom so ust like put the faceplate on from the top then go down, and dude dont sell it, its perfectly fine, if u have another black screw (maybe the top one on the right) put that where the nub is, just like push it hard together then add the screw. i got the same case and it fixes all my problems :D

Yeah it does. i use two from an offical sony ps2 memory card and it was fine. had to replace the bottom left screw and the top right due to me striping the original ones.
