What plastic are you using, and how sturdy is it? Also, I want to use a cd case for the plastic, but I know these crack easily, right?
hey im confused, about the 10ohm resistors where do u connect it? Sorry this is my first time modding my psp. And can u be more specific which wire did u use and which one did u connect to?
The 10ohm resistors can go pretty much anywhere in the circuit. They have no polarity, so it doesn't really matter with way you connect them. Also, use coated 30AWG Kynar/Magnet wire.
oh ok, would these work?http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062291http://www.gatewaycatalog.com/mas_assets/thumb/3605-00081.jpg (oh and would it matter if it was magnetic or not magnetic?) because i heard that Magnet wire can scratch and the enammel insulation comes off easy which can cause major shorts in your psp. Kynar 30awg is much more duarable and it is used by the majority of acidmods.(http://www.pspmod.com/forums/hardware/42694-psp-30-awg-magnet-wire-enamel-coated.html)oh and are the smd's are like led's?
No. Those resistors on RadioShack are 10W. If you scroll down on the search page, you'll find these ones:RadioShack 10ohm Resistors 1/4W Yes, use Kynar. Sorry, hadn't read before that it was a better one to use. Yes, the SMDs are LEDs. They're surface-mounted ones. Ideally use 0603 SMD LEDsHope that answers your questions.
I dont understand the part of soldering the 10ohm resistor??? where i have to solder it????
Now do you HAVE to have the resistor? And also why? and then could i do plan B, just add these to my speakers? I already have trigger connected directly to speaker (separately), could i not just add one to each one?
