well fellow moders its getting to be summer time again and the cars are coming out. its been quite some time since we had the car thread going so if you have one POST IT

i just washed mine, but its still quite dirty

2003 Pontiac Sunfire







i was pulling the dealers logo off and decided to keep the first letter, seeing as its the first letter in my name


on to the sound system
Alpine all around 6x9's in the rear deck and infinity's in the doors

single channel for the sub


four channel for the front and rear


and the type E sub (had a type S dual coil, but blew it 3 days after installation)


the head unit


im sure you saw the speaker behind my grill


well its a PA (Public Address) system. my CB Radio has a PA out on the back of it so when i saw a water proof speaker for $11.00 i had to have it


and i also have a component hook up for my Ipod so no FM transmitter for me we go wired all the way


and now a pic of the engine from when my buddy detailed my car for me.

it was $8,000 for the car (payed off)

and the sound system is worth, well i don't know i bought it used off of my friend he dropped $2,000 on it when he got it new and i traded him some house work and a Valentine One Radar/laser detector for it

my car looks like a stock 2000 grand prix but I have the supercharger pushing 14 psi and a 55 hp shot of nitrous. and it's a 4 door.

well u can take ur classes to get ur lisence at 15 which i did and u r allowed to get ur drivers lisence when ur 16
but when u finish the test u get ur permitt so u have to have ur permitt for 1 yr(now its half a year) and after that one year u can go to the DMV and get ur licence

when u have ur permitt u can drive with a adult of the age 18 and up that has their own lisence

and just because
u are allowed to rent a car when u become teh age of 25

my uncle has a 71 cudda that he raced back in the day it ran the 1/4 mile in 11.3

and as for under glow in the states if the car is moving the only color your allowed to have on it coming out of it is red on the brakes, yellow/amber out of turn signals, and white out of headlights and last amber out of a Department of Transportation approved light bar

so if your sitting in a parking lot with your friends and your not moving, every thing is game.

you talk so highly of your cars, then how come they aren't the universal standard?  Last time I checked the big 6 were Corvettes, Lamborghini's, Vipers, GT's, Ferrari's and Porshe's  In fact, I couldn't even name a car that comes from your country.  If they are so efficient don't you think they would be adopted in other parts of the world?  Also

My dad's impala has that, it uses 4 cylinders most of the time but will switch to the full 8 cylinders whenever you need to accelerate

i saw this pull up by me in a light and i chatted up with him about it(it was oen of thos 8 min lighst lol no joke)
all u need to do to get it is buy the GT for about 150K
then u take it to a ford dealership and u put down another 38K and u have ur self a FORD GTX1
tehy have almost 700bhp

i love talking about cars i want, but lets get back to the cars we HAVE guys

Cars we have... well, My dad has an Impala SS that puts out 303 HP stock, comes with D.O.D. (displacement on demand) which allows only 4 cylinders to produce power to save fuel. It looks stock because it is stock.



My dad also owns a 72 Chevelle with a 454 big block. I can get more pics if anyone wants them. It's set up for the drag strip except for the transmission which still puts out the same drag gearing with the addition of an overdrive so get better highway mileage.



My mother has a 2004 Trailblazer with a bunch of scratches in random places because she is obviously a woman driver  Kind of looks like the picture



We also have a 2003 (maybe) Chevy Duramax Turbodiesel truck, looks like the picture only blue... It's got the bulldy dog chip in it so we can adjust it from 350HP to 500HP on the fly which is awesome, its like NOS only less expensive!



Currently I ride in a '97 GMC Jimmy, looks like the picture only in black. It packs a >1000 watts RMS sound system but everything else about it is rubbish.



 I also have one of these for the nice days... I know it's not a car but it'll blow your car away (most likely) 



And I might as well show off my ATV, I have a 2004 KFX400 that runs 0-70 in 4.2 seconds, nuff said... it looks a bit like this...

no, i am only saying you guys use laods of HP and we dont but use the engine on a other way.
i dont hate the usa, just poiting out the differences.

we: not much HP but still go fast
you: loads of HP and go fast to.

its the way you use it.....
