I wouldn't recommend that radio because of its size, it would attract to much attention from someone who might steal it

if you get a radio that has an rca input in the back you can splice a headphone jack to rca cable and use that but otherwise I'm not sure it's been a while since I last looked but I'll check around

a majority of people don't pay attention to car alarms, and its not hard to break into a car without the alarm going off

I agree fully. they sell a tool that designed to be a spring loaded center punch and it can shatter a window without setting off the vibration sensor on your alarmthen you can compromise the alarm and it will all take less than 2 minutes literally.

I was referring to using a slim jim to pop open cars, I have one that came with my car.  Every once in a while me and my friends break into another one of my friend's car, put it in nuetral and roll it off to the other side of the parking lot  :winker:

To stay on topic if you do get that make sure you take that faceplate off every time you leave the car unless you have video surveillance...

That's just the thing with my kind of slim jim, it opens the hooks, not the handle

Not the kind that goes into the side by the lock itself  I'll get a picture of it...

most car alarms are triggered 2 ways. one way is the vib. sensor the other is buy the dome light cicuit so when the door opens the light turns on and triggers the alarm. but you can eleiminate all that buy disconecting the battery then you have all the time in the world to do what you want inside the car. the biggest way to stop a thief is don't let them know you have it. remove you faceplate and turn the volume down a few minutes before you get to where you're going to park.

you don't need to actually get to the battery just either the pos or ground if either are disconnected from the bat then nothing will have power but with no vib sensor in you car you don't have to worry about setting off the alarm if you don't open a door so a thief would'nt need to worry. so take propper precaution and don't make it easy besides with gas prices the way they are they won't even bother with the radio they will take you gas.

looks good but I think you will still need an amp install kit and check to see if you need the antenea adapter and you really should get the factory harness adapter so you don't need to cut any wires.

because my speakers specs are sayin that my front speakers are runnin at 75 watts RMS and 150MAX

would it be best to get a amp that has a fan in it because im gonna try to put it under my seat

having a fan on the amp will help with over heating but only if it has airflow to begin with. under the seat isn't a good place for an amp because there isnt enough air and the upolstry acts like insulation. the trunk works better and the best way to mount it is vertical and with space around it.
