Hi

We are currently looking for 1-3 members to come and join the staff as part of a new group the tutorial managers.

the applicants need to be trustworthy, dedicated, have time to give as its time consuming, a basic knowledge if the forum ie bbcode and also need some knowledge of modding(not going to be a problem).

your job as a tutorial manager will be:
- seek out tuts
- correct tuts
- make tuts conform to template (to be writen within next 48hrs)
- move all tut images to ftp and use links to those images following the intstructions on the topic about ftp access(you will se this topic when you become part of the group)
- manage tuts and vet tuts for suitability
- if they see a tut on another forum they are to get written confirmation from the writer to post the tutorial up here
(joint email will be provided for these confirmation letters)

Why do you think your Suitable: because i get confused and often have to work out the meanings, so i know how it feels to be confused by a tut and be able to make it more easy to understand

Why do you think your Suitable: I would like 2 join so i could become a better Acid modder i would like 2 be given a shot and if u do give me a shot and i dont live up 2 your expectations or i feel i cant i will gladly and willingly step down. I want 2 learn alot and i think this is a perfect opportunity 4 it so anyways i hope u choose me
side note: atm my regular computer is not working and can only use my dsl i hope this is not a problem but if it is i understand

you would need a full computer to be able to access and upload to the FTP server. Please post how long till you get your computer back

Probaly in a week or 2 i hope that helps and i get chosen but its not a very good computer but it works good regardless ill pm you the specs if you want robin.

and ran my own web site for a year (Duke's PsP Iso's) got shut down for Obvious reasons, but in that time i learned lots about html code and bbcode. Also i am very organized and i hate when should thing is out of order or messy. I am extremely reliable and i hate letting people down so i do my best on everything. I know everything there is to know about hacking the psp software wise and now thanks to this site i know a great deal about the PSP physically as well.

Why do you think your Suitable: I have taken many web-page design classes and have designed many websites for school projects and or friends and every-time I received great comments/grades. And I love organizing things, it's one of my favorite things to do. I would love to join the ranks of the acidmods staff.

I'm good at editing papers, articles, and the likes. I like modding and will read any tutorial that comes out. Come to think of it, I've checked out every single tut on this site. I can devote a lot of time to editing and seeking out modding tutorials on the net seeing as I'm at home most of the time. I also need something more to do with summer coming along and school coming to a close. I know some basic HTML but not too much at the moment. I can embed images and such and am willing to learn more if need be.

Why do you think your Suitable: because I luv tuts, and i have made a fair amount of non modding tuts on SmashGFX.com and would like to practice at some more intense work by doing some acidmods tuts, and helping out with correcting and rewriting older ones. Why do you think your Suitable: I think I am suitable because this is basically all i do while I'm at home is go on acidmods. I know a bit about bbcode and this would be an opportunity to learn more about it. I'm a pretty cool guy and can be funny. I can do the most laborous tasks and complete them without complain (fixing up tuts and rewrite old and outdated ones.) Also I would like to learn more about modding consoles and what better chance to do that than being a tutorial manager. So maybe after writing this long novel it may pursuade you guys to pick me.

P.S. ~ I can also take pics of old pics that have been removed and put them in tuts so people don't have to look at a box that says that the pic has been removed (gets pretty annoying).
