Memory Stick and Wifi LEDS won't turn on for unbricking

I recently purchased a bricked psp off of ebay and it's warrenty sticker was still intact. I have a MMS and a hardmodded battery that will work in my main psp but when placed in my bricked psp it won't go to the pandora menu. The LEDs that are supposed to light up on the side never light up. Does anyone know how to fix this problem or does my psp have a hardware brick?

yeah, i think you have a hardware brick, pretty sure but not positive
