hello,

i am buying this:

It is illigal here and i like illigal things

some specs:
Carton size:119*36*49cm
G.W./N.W.:24.5/21.5kgs
Drive model: chain
Start: drawing rope
Motor:43cc
Speed:35km/h
Brake: disc brake
Range:40km
Oil type:petrol,1:25 engine oil mixing
Tank capacity:1L
Cool way: air cooling
Loading:150kgs

i am going to tune it but i have a few questions.

1: Could ise use a small battary for some neon underneath it or leds?
with leds i could just use 2 AA battary's and thats it.

2: it's hand pulled when you want to start it. is there a way to make it electric?

3: you guys got ideas what i can do with this baby?

i am going to change:
- the cilinder head
- air filter (make it an endurance/sport one)
- carberateur, try to adjust it so it works better
- its goign to get a 3L tank so i can drive 120km
- and bring it to my uncle and see what we can adjust or change on it.

i really want this thing to be uber cool, in my city i have seen 2 of these things, people love them and allways say like: WOW see that guy going!

you could increase the fuel flow in the carburetor, putting on a performance air filter and taking out any kind of baffle the exhaust has to run it strait, which will negate the effects of more intake of air

the exaust wont work, this kinda things need to compress and they use the exaust for it so that is impossible

LOL, good luck, dont get caught to many times with it, im in NY and on Long Island the cops hate them. i had a great one bought off a friend, they are so much fun to ride. good luck lol, also that looks real good. How much is it??

also to answer number 2 , ium am pretty sure that you cant put an electric started on it. the engine is to small to support it. and about neon, if you can get it wired u should be able to put it under. There is a bar that supports the footplate and you can put like a band under it holding it on and just get like a batter compartmen. But im not too sure abut wiring it all. Never though bout putting neon under the footboard. too bad the police took mine awa lol. need another

electric starter is pretty easy to make....i just need to get the parts...lol
and it was 200 euro thats arround 300-400 dollar.
its not as real goped cause thats for

's...lol

i still need some input guys!!!

what do YOU think i can do with it? i can paint the frame maybe...@ my school i can use their paint room.

or alternativly you could ditch that engine and put a massive lawn mower engine on in its place as you can get mowers with like 6-7 horses (lol i said horses made me giggle) in it instead of what i think is about 3.5 there

well, this aint a real goped. its a sort of imitation kinda thing. but not the chinese crap.
i am going to tune it up and thats gonna cost me a lot.

gotjumbo, got any good idea's what to change?

its cant realy haula ss because its haullin my ass lol
the lights are broke because i put it to the limit and was weavin in and around curbed front house driveway
and i faceplanted and fractures my right wrist
but its still a badass ride
AND ITS CAMO!
its a 49cc
but liek i told u earlyer
that one is kinda flimsy
mines all metal exsept for the headlights

u cant turbo small engines it just dosent have an affect. but if ur going illegal i def recomend a x pocket bike i had like a x 8 super pocket bike. it was a manual 110cc i could do like 60mph easy on a good day new tires tuned right 75mph. they are verry good built bikes key ignition they are big too but going 60 mpg on them is scary verry easy to kill yorselfe on them but they are a load of fun mine is currently impounded and the cops want 1200 usd to get it out and i actualy just get my liscence back this weekend my advice just register it they are street legal stock turn signals and all. i only paid 500 used for the thing

i may just chrome the whole engine and get some nice air filter on it

uhm....

Add a performance variator and lighter rollers
new carburettor (Make sure to rejet it at the same time :3)
pimpin' air filter
kevlar drive belt
wheres the exhaust on this thing? =S
Id suggest aiming for a kickstart cos its soo much cooler :P Dont know about the feasibility of that idea but ti would be cool nonetheless =3
make sure you improve the brakes if you do any modifications to performance .....

All of the above would be better on a bigger engine =3 Either find a 70cc bore kit or as robin said simply swap the engine...

Once youve done that chrome the engine and put cage with a keyed lck round the engine so you dont mess it up if the inevitable happens and you tip the thing =P

Crack some 2" alloy spinners on it and replace the handlebars with a stronger material. New tyres wouldnt go a miss if you were going to be going faster than before possible Uhm thats about it I guess ...

The majority of that is based in knowledge of bike engines so I presume the principles were the same ...

the pull start works by spinning the coils in the alternator,so if you remove it,attach a strong electric motor to where you removed the pull start and wire that up to the battery u can turn on the electric motor,it will spin the coils and ur engine will start,i did this with my go kart except the starter is external,i was gettin into serious racing and had to remove as much weight as possible,get that engine powder coated instead of chromed powder coating is way way cooler

, when ur running it always use high quality motor oil when ur mixing it with the petrol,i bought the low grade stuff and it gummed up the engine on my pocket bike,get some performance tyres,and as indy says get the engine bored to 70 cc its super kewwwwwwwwwl and doesnt cost nearly as much as replacing it with a 70cc engine,bbs air filters are the best for small engines like this

well then make teh lights water proof
i highly recomend u not chrome the engine
this isnt that good of a scooter to be puttin a ass load of money down on
(besides the engine is a dirt magnet)
id advise u to get a seat its much more comparable
liek i tryed to point out was that if u upgrade teh engine on my kind u can gio thro the grass and what not very easly
not to mention it has wicked tires
lol btw i like to burnout with it(lift up the back and rev engine and it will burnout but its a waste of tires)
but realy dont put down that much money i mean i got mine when i was 14 and when i was about 15 1/2 i had my car and the whole scooter idea was kinda old
tho that year and a half was badass lol
