Custom painted 360 Controller
« on: May 31, 2008, 05:56:32 PM »
This was originally a black 360 controller:

It's really smooth, and perfect. Ahaha, I love it. But I'm scared it's gonna chip or something if I put my chatpad on it >_>

Kinda late now, but for next time, if you're worried about it chipping, use vinyl  dye instead of paint.  Vinyl dye actually melts the plastic, dyes it the correct color, and then the plastic hardens.  It won't chip because the plastic is actually the new color.  You can find it at any auto store.  That being said, the new color looks really good.  I like the silver/black trim combo.
