DS Lite F2 fuse problem
« on: September 07, 2008, 07:18:09 AM »
My DS Lite would not charge anymore so i changed the battery but no, then i changed the charger but still no, I tested the charger and battery on my friends DS and it would charge. I then searched on the net for a solution and found out that my F1 and F2 fuses where blown. I bridged fuse F1 and then came the problem. With my stupidity the little gold bits where the F2 fuse was located are gone when trying to bridge it. So i ask can i bridge the F2 fuse from another place? I really want to play my DS please reply! Thanks

As far as i know..there arent any traces leading to the fuse..well 2 fuses i know of there arent..the pads go straight through to the second motherboard layer and are routed across to the circuitry they are protecting.
Well... how do i fix it then?

By going back in time and being careful. Look like that's how.

Uhm. If they go to the 2nd mobo layer, you're screwed.
