psp powering up...
« on: June 22, 2008, 10:47:32 AM »
just got a new mobo and when  i power it up the leds only light up like half way then kicks right back off. i have already looked for shorts and i cant find any, the lcd cage isnt on yet and im not to sure what else it could be. the mobo worked fine when it was shipped, the only thing it is missing was 2 prongs where the yellow charger plug went, so i did the USB charge mod and thats as far as ive got any ideas?

Nope that should be no problem. It maybe bricked though. Try a Pandora on it and see what happens. Same thign happened to one of my old PSP's

Edit- Also if you do USB charge you could have heated it up to much. You may have ruined it
