Hey im new here n im just wondering wuts wrong with my psp iwas doing the led mod when i was done putting everything back together i tried to turn it on but nothing happen all it was like a short flicker from the power led

P.S. its not a brick ive done it b4, my battery is fully charged tried it on a different psp tried to play it with the charger plugged in but nothin, tried the usb mod ,but the nothin worked i jus ordered a new controls board thingy with the power switch n all that

take it all appart again and run it without nujtting on usual the cage that hold the LCD alwayz shorts out sumthing . i dont no why
.

If you broke your power switch you can take the end of an xacto knife and just short the center pin and the upper pin to turn the device on and off for now.

ok ive tried all of that n i jus got my new circuit board today i tried it out same reaction as my old one the led only flickers for a quick second does that mean i have to get a MoBo?!?!?!?!?!?

if you go on ebay, you can get a new mobo for 35 plus 15 shipping. Or there are three whole psps with broken screens but everything else works that you can bid on for like 6 bucks and 5 shipping. That way you'd have xtra parts too. Just go to ebay.com andtype psp motherboard into the search.

ive done that but all of them are reely overpriced like one of them wuz like $245 thats more thatn the psp itself!

dude, how have you wired the led's? is it hooked up via the speakers or have you wired it through the powerboard.

theres only a few ways of doing an led trigger mod, not hard to guess really.

Like what the other members have said here, it sounds like a short. replacing the power board may fix it but if not, then you'll need a new mobo. in regards to getting a new mobo, i'd check the auction page here. you'll get a better deal than some of the prices on ebay.

basically ive been toying with my psp all morning n finally had a breakthrough i put my new power board n it worked rite but then a couple minutes later when i put it back together it didnt work again also it wont charge for squat
