**HELP** XBOX media sharing

Yo. i was playin sum music from my fone through the xbox. And ive got a vista laptop connected to the xbox but the laptop hasnt got the music on it. Ive got a windows xp desktop with the sharing stuff and sp2 all that. But the xbox doesnt pick it up. Just wondering if anyone can help or tell me if they got/had the same problem. P.S. ive called their help center, they are as useless as my gran lol. Thanks in advanced.
