I need help people. can you please help me as i wont to update my home system by getting a tv, speakers but i got amp, and a cheap media center extender. but mostly i need help on choosing speakers, has to be powerful but reasonable price,  budget is about 2000 - 3000£ or 6000$ on a 5.1 system. thanks in advanced.

get a yamaha ysp-1100 audio projector - they sound awsome i whent to a demo of one a while back nd the sound was great plus the room it was demoed in was an aquard room with carpets and soft furnishings so if it was good in that room it would be even better in a regularly shaped room.

I'd have to disagree, no sound bar can compete with a decent 5.1 setup

have you heard a demonstration of the yamaha sound projecters. before you make a judjment i would have to say you need to hear the two. to me they were very close so it falls down to your price and your want or lack of for lots of wires between thevarious speekers

I have heard expensive sound bars, and they just don't compare when put up side by side with a real system.  Reverberated sound isn't the same as direct sound

man i have some advents that are at least 15 years or older that are wonderful they put out better sound then my dads high price speackers get some advents new or old.

yo, thanks for the advise, i was considering those sound bars bt everyone i kno says it cant beat a 5.1 or 7.1. so im opting out of ound bars. BTW, im looking for sum powerful beasts, i got kef ref 103/4 right now 200w but they kinda old and a 500w sub, looking for suttin that will shake my neighbours house. I did sum research into polk audio. What do u think?

polk is what my dad has they are great if you cant get advent then get polk they really are some of the best speakers.

i got a good setup for some crazy bass wat i got is a pioneer reciever just got it but it really isn't better then the one i had which is super old and has a button on it that says super bass that was my favorite anyways i got some bose speakers as my rear speakers they r lil cubes and come with this subwoofer really doesn't compare to my other speakers and i got 2 old ass technics speakers as my front and a center speaker that is huge idk wat brand but it gots some super bass and this is all in my tiny room i am talking smalllllll

and some good speakers look for something with bass but quality polk is good don't go with bose they r expensive and not even special

Yo, i got a reciever, a yamaha but i got 2 rooms so need another one. So, what one is it? and if u got ebay let me kno and ill put a bid or suttin(if im intrested). And i looked at those advent ones and ur right they got good specs so ill put sum consideration into price and everything but im defo stayin away from bose.

i got 2 recievers the newer one is vsx-517 and the older one is sx-255R i just want to get rid of one cuz i only got one room and the second one is just wasting space
also i need money for my car and/or modding
and i don't have it on ebay but if u like it let me know
