alright i have this white strip everytime i open up firefox. idk what it is. so can yall plz help me  . i dont want it there it annoyes the crap out of me well plz you guys just help me. i would really appreciate yalls help CIRCLED IN RED

its probably a plugin you have installed

what do you mean by plugins? oh and my netgear router stoped working now. i tryed to set a pass and i cant get to it and now i plug in my router it doesnt work wtf yo?

ok for the router, reset it, theres usually a pinhole at the back, put a pin in there for like 10-20 seconds and it restores it to factory default settings etc.  and about the white strip thing, i dont know if its a plugin / addon that would caise that but still have a look. go to tools-> addons and disable all addons one by one and see if that fixes the problem.

I had the same problem with fire fox 2 and i disabled all plug ins so i never figured it out it diapered when i went to firefox 3. it was so annoying no you cannot right click it will only ignore it you can type commands i think in it. good luck getting rid of it.

ok thanks you guys ill try to get rid of it. i just dont want to go to firefox 3 cause i heard it looses all your bookmarks when you upgrade

go to 192.168.0.1...or whatever yours is...and it should be Username:admin Password:1234 OR password, one of the two...

open your internet explorer and go to your configuration menu.  (see user manual) and set up from there

ok your configuration menu is basically where u can change your SSID, WPA/WEP keys etc.. look in the user manual for your router. im with o2 so when i want to go 2 my config menu i type in 192.168. etc etc or i type o2wirelessbox.lan into the address bar in my internet explorer and i login using the administrator account and i can change all my setting there, like set up my connection via ethernet. but i'd advice looking at your user manual, and see how to set up your connection

i can only go to it when the router is in and when the router is in the internet doesnt work
