completed my 2nd mod-- moded another today

hello everyone i just finished my first psp mod and decided to share it with everyone here. its sound reactive trigger leds i used 0805 blue leds... there are 4 leds only 2 are visible yet because i havent got my clear faceplate yet so they are not visible.. and i just want to say thanks to everyone who helped me and ohh its direct led mod(without lm386)....

they are in middle of dpad(had to drill a hole onto it) and the powerboard they will be visible soon ,or whenever that dealextreme faceplate arrives.

Looks nice, congrats on the first mod. But about the dealextreme case,i put an order in right before the earthquakes over there, and it still hasnt come. But the psp looks nice! tell me if you get ur dx stuff ok?

i made my friend order a faceplate and he got it in about 2 weeks exactly i am in canada and there were no earthquakes here soo maybe earthquakes are the problem

well dx is in china i think, or sumthin near there and they had a earthqukae
and for my powerbaord, i shorted it out on purpose and then i was going to fix it but it didnt work out that way so my buttons dont work any more
and btw, if your going to add more leds you should get a lm chip because soldering directly to the speakers uses more power

Yup DX is in Hong Kong, China.

And ya your not gonna want to put more than 4 leds the direct way usually.

how did he manage to put 16 of em....  confuses me. what do i do??? put more directly or use the sound board(ordered about 2 weeks ago)

Ya you can, but it will run ur battery alot quicker, it uses all the power from the speakers, ur better off witht the Sound PCB yes

this one took 4 hours yayyyy i hav taken the time from 8 hours to 4 hours ...... the 1st one had a struck screw soo that took most of extra time...
