I think he means to wire two psp slim batteries together and use it in a fat psp.

I guess that would work but it probably won't fit inside the fat psp like a normal battery would. It would probably stick out a little. Worth a try.

lemme translate since am ghetto/professional(at times)

I was thinking, what happens if i was to wire the first point of the positive side of the battery to a next positive tip of a slim battery , and place it all in a fat battery case,

hmmm 1. nope because 2 battery combined is going to, push 6.5 volts (your going to ruin your psp) parallel or series it wouldn't work.

okay so if you aren't as dumb as you type you might be able to make it work if it is without the casing.  You know 2 lithium packs and one or 2 of the circuit boards, no battery shell

No. You're wrong. You wire them in parallel and it's the SAME voltage as just 1 battery. You wire in series, then it's upped. This mod is 100% possible, in fact I've done it before myself except with iPod batteries in the psp battery shell.

Well if so does that mean cell phone batteries even if mixed with others close to the same power would work together for the psp. Cuz i do have a IPOD battery and couple cell phone and mp3.

4.5v 300 ma battery parallel to 4.5v 300 ma battery = 4.5v with 600ma

4.5v 300 ms battery series ( + of first battery to - of second battery ) to 4.5v 300ma battery = 9v with 300ma

I can take 4 batteries with - hooked to - and + hooked to + and still have 4.5v with 1,200ma

So yes you can have as many batteries as you want !

open the battery, connect the positives and ground, and connect it to the pcb
maybe you need a resistor
having a higher post count doesn't earn respect in the forums, quality posts do.

thanks,

What if you put a 2.2 OHM Resistor on the [-] terminal? wouldnt that leave you with the required voltage to run a psp, [1.8 amps, 3.5 Volts] and still the extra power on the battery?

Yeah someone's done it. And use the URL BUTTON next time.
And, next time read your own topic. You can't use multiple types of batteries. They need to be the same. Choose one damnit, AAs or a Slim battery.

hey becareful mixing batterys, Your not really supposed to do that
And that AA wont work, Its going to be 6.0 volts, thats to much for the psp, you need a capcitor or a couple of resistors
However today I was brutally raped by a door handle, and none of my friends helped me up off the floor after ten minutes, instead they all teabaged me, all 10 of them...

Yea so far so good Dark_Daniel liking the progress once ur done make a TUT for it. And yes follow what MARIOPARTY53 hes right u need a resistor at least to bring down to perfect voltage for the psp then you got it.
