oe-a.... thats soooo old >.< the latest out right now is 4.01m33. as for install you need pandora and magic memory stick which i can't help you there :/

getting old is mandatory growing up is optional.

No he won't..If you have custom firmware then you're all good just install it by running the update like you would when updating with any custom firmware. Just look at the readme when you download the update from the link given above me, it'll tell you how.

DON'T LISTEN to anyone but me,

First you must update to 3.52 m33-4 in order to update to another CFW higher.

Then you can update to 4.01 m33-2

you can either use pandora battery or there is another option ... download the oe recovery pack and put it on your memory stick and then go to recovery mode and select "run program at PSP/GAME/RECOVERY" option doing this will get you back to 1.5 and then you can install m33 custom firmware and once you are on m33 you can update to 4.01m33 but its just too much to do i would prefer if you use pandora  :hifive: good luck

thanks chase for this sig =)

i alredy have CF i was under the impression that i didnt need to make a pandora bat and mem stick. see all the confusion and every one saying do this and that is why i have strayed away from the CF world.

from what im finding down loading the FW and looking at the reed me is the way to go. (if you have a better idea let me know)

This is correct. Do that.
Oh, im not 100% sure but you might have to go to 3.52m33 first then to 3.52m33-4

When ever I install CF on someones psp I go in this order: kxploitpatcher (this just a patch), 3.52m33, 3.52m33-3, 3.80m33, 3.80m33-5, 1.50 kernal addon for 3.80.

I wouldn't install any higher because it get less compatible with irshell, unless you have a slim; because the only new things between 3.80 and 4.01 is skype (only for slim), internet search, ps1 games. You can get homebrew for the feartures that you are "missing out on" with 3.80.
