I believe there is a 5v point ok the back of the powerboard. People use it to do the trigger mod.
Any Questions? Please Contact Me: rceckspurt13@gmail.com

Maybe poke around with a multimeter

No 3.6v wont work for the sound mod, it needs the 5 volt point. just make the end of the wire really short and put on, its kinda annoying when it shorts put some hot glue over it that what i used

It's so damn easy to solder there!!
How can you make a short?
And dam!! What's that behind the speaker
female connector??

EDIT: On topic,I don't know of any other 5V spots,I have never bothered to find another one.
+ you can just solder to the positive and and find a same ground somewhere else on the mobo
to solder.I say same because psp has more than one GND's and that's cool. =)

but i never got around to do it

well i finally got it
and it turns out teh reason why my sound reactive mod wasnt working was because i had teh led hooked up to the neg and the ground to teh pos of leds LOL
(all the wiring is blue i lost my white wire)
and the right solder point is teh live point so yea.. work now
so thx guys
