I didn't drop it, that's for sure. I don't exactly know what caused it to mess up because I'm fixing it for a friend, and he said he didn't do anything.

buy a new umd drive and replace your existing one. You could try redoing the firmware but I doubt that would work.

there 2 pin that activate ur psp slkim drive the big od white one and the small tiny one on ur top left corner:() make sure there not broken =)
