psp music file limit

i have the 16gb sdhc in my psp. i found out that theres a 999 song limit to each file in the music folder. anybody else get this? or is there a way to get around it beside making a bunch of folders?i dont know i just like to listen to all my music at random.

i found this as well. that i know of, there's no way to get around it. IRshell might support more mp3's, i haven't tried since i don't use it.

There is that limit in irshell too

I have been testing with my IPOD and I have over 5,000 songs on it. I can only play the first 999 songs in a directory. I am using my irshell 3.9 to access my IPOD.
