lol I know its stupid but I'm just waiting for a fan to arrive so I can install it and then put it back together....but for now that fan will do :P

lol, today it got up to 43 degrees. So no way in hell I'm putting a black case on it lol. I told my family, not to go anywhere near or touch it. Scared they might touch a cap. I should probably put some mesh over it or something. Oh well its only temporary. Works pretty good...maybe I should get one for the other side....hmmmm

yup, ghetto cooling at its finest. heres mine like a month before I pulled the plug on her:

that wasnt even the final stages, I ended turning the DVD drive out to get more flow accross the gpu.

My friend just gave me his old 360 which got the red rings. Its a halo 3 special edition. I'm gonna be replacing the fans in it and do the x clamp fix.

Kreeger, you are not pushing any air into those fins. You will burn out the Xbox if you dont point the fan in the same direction as the fins....like right now.

Well its cooling the extra GPU heat sync well, it won't burn out coz the 360 stock fans are still on....Just an extra source of air...Its also cooling all the other components.

you know what you could do, get a case, put a Wii, a PS3, and a 360 in it, in a 3 tier setup. Section off the hard drives and disk drives. and then submerge it in oil.

RROD over and over till i finally parted it out and got a new one. I used hot air rework tools that I have at work to try to "reflow" the chips and that kept it alive the better part of 6 months, but eventually it was no use, too much hassle to keep doing it.

lol I think I'll put something on top of it, today at work I was modifying the output for a power supply for a customer and I accidentally touched the 240V cap.....Wasn't to pleasant

Why are you modifying power supplies?
Why in hell are you touching high voltage caps?
Why are you doing this professionally (at 16) ?

Its a communications company. Two way radios and stuff. Some are installed in places where they need their own power supplies for whatever reason. But the power supplies that we get have a pot on the front to adjust how much voltage it gives out. By modding it, I take out the pot, put a sticker type thing over the hole. Add some didoes, set the pot so it gives out around 13.8V and then heat shrink it so it doesn't change and place it inside the power supply and then put it all back together so the customer can't fiddle around with the voltage. Ummmm why am I touching high voltage caps...I dunno its funs, I like the "buzz"

lol kidding. I accidentally hit it with my finger when turning it off and to answer your last question....I'm doing work experience.

Add up now ? :P
