HELP!!! plz read

i just switch cases on my psp went from normal piano black, now ive got a red one full shell mod everything went smooth except now my R button is stuck its not even the trigger stcuk down its just acting like it is when ipower on my psp it goes straight to the recovery menu i can exit out and it boot up fine but when i try to play a game w/e the R button does keeps happening over and over again.

any ideas?

try taking off the faceplate, then pulling out the triggers and putting them back in, that happened to me once.

You could check the ribbon cable it might be loose but I've heard some other people have fixed this just by pressing on it 30 times or so quickly. You could try it.  :dntknw:

also, check the trigger pad. may have not been placed right. it fine to place the fpcb correctly but if the rubber pad and the small metal frame isn't then this problem will accure.

You will need to either do a ghetto fix, or replace the connector its self

i don't think thats it i took off the faceplate and the trigger just leaving the button bare and it still acted like i was holding it down

what kind of ghetto fix would work also where could i find a new connector

Try not to double post use the edit button-

Probly buy a new Flex cable.

or just openit up again and check the silicon rubber thing, sometimes it gets stuck ......
