Push Button
« on: July 31, 2008, 12:26:15 AM »
At first glance the one I got looked exactly like the ones I saw on ebay in the rapid fire controllers but now I'm wondering if I got the right one. The local electronics shop had a few to choose from but none were even close to looking like the ones I'd seen before, so I got this one.

Does it look like it will stick through the controller casing enough to be pushed?

Thanks!

Yeah, thought so. Took another look at the kits on ebay and they have a taller button but still have the same base. Any sites you'd recommend for such a button?

And how would I wire it? I'm new to this whole thing.

I tried that last night and fried the light on the guide button. Long story...lol

How would you have wired the button?

It doesn't matter what button you get...

Think before you speak. I was wondering if it would be long enough to fit through the casing and I now have my answer.

If there's 4 prongs on the botton does it matter where I solder the wire coming from the first led and the middle pin of the trigger?

Think before you speak.
Don't tell me what to do. It DOESN'T MATTER what button you get. So you got one that the button won't stick through? So put the actual button in the casing and not the push button part. Problems solved. Don't tell me what to do.
