Help w/LCD screen
« on: August 02, 2008, 07:37:30 PM »
I have a psp slim, and unfortunately it doesn't work. When I turn it on, the screen is completely black, but you can hear the start up sounds. I tried to reboot, but that was no use. I can put a movie/game in it, and you can hear the game or movie playing. Can someone help me?

u need a new lcd backlight or maybe the full thing. did u open ur psp and open and lift the clamps in the back of the lcd and any chance its not connected? if u need a replacement there's one in dealextreame.com for $55 for lcd and backlight combo.
(+ [__]·:·)PSPs are going to take over the world because us humans are enhancing the psp and going beyond its limits, and it will turn on itself and go against its master and annihilating the human race.

Yeah, there's no problem with the connection because I replaced it with a new LCD. Is there a chance it could be the fuse for this situation?

did you drop the slim or bang on it?
And A new screan wont fix
There might Be a fuse blown, Or fallen off fuse/capcitor

However today I was brutally raped by a door handle, and none of my friends helped me up off the floor after ten minutes, instead they all teabaged me, all 10 of them...

Nope, I didn't drop it. If a fuse is blown, can it be fixed?
