wired input custom jewel and my psp mod
« on: August 06, 2008, 10:11:30 PM »
i had a quick question hopefully someone could answer quickly...

at what point in the ordering process do I upload the image for the custom jewel? I'd hate to miss it and be sent a blank one for double the price haha.

btw: here's my image that I'm getting done!!!

im not sure if they want a color or b&w, but if they want a b&w i made a pseudo-stencil-ish (lol) type of image i think that would look kinda neat.

these were both dont by me, I've used the gas mask/fedora (or gilby) icon for some time now, especially as avatars on other forums, and soon to be this one.

haha thats pretty awesome, would look pretty cool as a jewel especially because its your custom icon. Remember to take a vid when you get it installed.  Also I'm loving the original pic how that hats been shoped in lol.

It looks good, but why didn't you just convert it to B&W? If you're using Photoshop just go to image>mode>grayscale. Or like image>adjustments>black and white. It's much easier. If you have PS :taunt: Idk how to do it in others, though. Lol.

And yeah get some pics when that's in, it looks awesome.

problem is, just changing it to a grayscale in PS made it look like a giant gray blob, and fiddling with the contrast didnt help either. that and stenciling is just badass (I do alot of graffiti, and not just illegally! people pay me! im no banksy though...)

now that I think about it, i dont know why i even made that 50% gray in the back, I guess I just wanted to give it layers and a little more definition... i see alot of things I shouldve corrected before sending it in though.

I uploaded both pictures and just asked to do whatever they feel would be best, Im sure the acidmods/wire input art team can do something atleast a little amazing amirite?
