general electronics question
« on: August 09, 2008, 09:37:00 PM »
this is kinda DS related, but not

the DS puts out 30v of power to a single backlight, so how is it that leds can be plugged into that (the backlight) without burning out?
low amps maybe? does anyone know?

And if you stick an led to the backlight, the back light wouldnt work

However today I was brutally raped by a door handle, and none of my friends helped me up off the floor after ten minutes, instead they all teabaged me, all 10 of them...

actually the battery gives closer to 3.7 volts
and the backlight does get 30v, test it with a multimeter
the backlight is made up of LEDs, which is what im asking about

you tried testing it? and it messed up the touchscreen?
mustve done it wrong, because mine works fine
either way, you only need to test for a small amount of time

the backlight connections run a PSP backlight perfectly and all thats in that circuit are 7 white leds and a surface mount component i cant identify
