PSP 1001B2 Trim

Ok I have a PSP 1001b2, (JUst a diffrent version of PHat ,) and my trim got recked so i orderd new trim. Well it came today and it fits, but it doenst work with my power switch, its like to short or something. Idk what to do but a little help would be appreciated. Also the orignal trim is got like a bigger trim hole and switch, and now i cannot play psp. So thanks for the help.

Normally trim packs come with the buttons too. If not, Order anther pack that comes with buttons and use a screw driver with the line head to turn it on and off in the meantime
