led problems... fixed, w/pics
« on: August 30, 2008, 12:15:27 AM »
so, i had a dsl with the leds but because of the placement of the switch and probably some other factors i kept bricking touch screens.  i decided to move the leds to a new shell and rewire them to be cleaner.
BUT
now none of the lights are responsive, not even the power light
im running the leds power to a source just below the power light, im thinking that is the problem, where is another power source?  i needed to move it anyway because when i play online my lights would blink and that gets REALLY annoying
thanks guys
sorry for sounding like a noob

i have concluded that whenever i connect the power to the mobo the lights go out, but when i disconnect it, everything works fine, what could be causing this?

edit:
i determined it was a short in the buttons somewhere.  i decided to finnish up this ds with something else, and fix the buttons later
