Power Failure

Well my 360 i think as a power issue or is now dead well tis is the promble ervry things pluged in and i press the power button and it turns on for a half a secound somtimes or less then shuts off. so if anybody can tell me why or tell me how to fix it would be helpful becuase i dont have the money to buy a new one at the moment.
