Yeah, your right. I'll buy another psp, an do that one. I wont one with dual nubs anyway, for on the road.

Btw I'll be putting blue lighting in there. The cool part is that the white power light goes out when I plug the controller in. So the psp goes from all white to all blue.

c'mon...do it...haha, nah, do what you will BUT, the only ones who brick psp's with downgrades and custom firmwares are :censored:s who dont read the directions...ive done ever single custom firmware hack to my psp and many other kid's psp's and since it took me around 12 months to research everything and ask everyone everything i could, i realized its no big deal and as long as you take your time and dont skip ANYTHING nothing will go wrong...but still its a sick mod and it is worth thinking about...but custom firmware is awesome...like, completely awesome, you can do anything....anything.

Are you using the basic power indicator connections on the switch board to power all of the LEDs? I'm curious to see how much current it can handle.

Well' I've been using a diferant hot spot recently (I'll take a pic on sat when I do another one). But the mobo I have now is the older moddle and dosent have it. So this one is using the point on the powerswitch board. I am also curiose aboout why the power idicator goes out. Any ideas?

I also tried using the point you used on your switched sholder lights, but found that the led's would burn out if the charger was on for mor than an hour or so. I re tested the spot and discovered it had jumped to over 5v. Have you ever had that problem?

Yeah but it would suck if you opened it up to solder the piss out of it and brick it with firmware. Should of tryed the custom firm first then solder.

Ok. The SP at the moment is that I am having a few problems with the analogue stick. I seem to have a bad connection some where but cant find it. I am going to assume that its the the rubber psp connection as everything else tests perfect. I could make vid with what i have but it would be cheating slightly as this really isnt finished.

you could solder wires in place of the STUPID rubber thingy, means your face plate doesnt come off without unscrewing the nub but it beats the hell outta the rubber.

Well I finaly got this finished today.

The problem with the analoge was actualy caused by the leds some how. I discovered when I pluged in the 3v plug it would get worse. So I diconected it. It was still a bit iffy so I used that line as a separate ground for the pots and that fixed everything.

Video is now done and up loading. I'll put together a mini work log post to go with it and release the video tonight.

EDIT: Oh and I did downgrade and now have OE-A.

awsome I will be off and on tonight I replaced the two rear struts already now ima hunt down the elec problem

I guess it's one of those "If you can't figure it out without a tutorial, you shouldn't even try it" things. It'd be cool to find out what pins you used for each USB socket though.
