Can anyone tell me if there are any tricked out PSP Mods? I gotta know cause my psp is getting a little too plain.

LED mods are just stupid. Console looks like christmass tree

The best mods here on AcidMods[IMO]: internal SDHC card slot, better speakers [Sony Ericsson ones], external WiFi antenna, internal camera [or even GPS?], internal Bluetooth audio receiver, external controller [this is totally sick and awesome]. I prefer useful mods instead of "nice" looking [like LEDs].

They are saying mods that are useful are better than mods that arn't useful just look cool. Like sound reactive leds. They look good but its pointless really and not to mention everyone has it.

i tried the internal gps. its a great idea but the signal you end up with sux! i scrapped the idea after i found out about the problem.

Thats a bit of a let down. I would of thought internal GPS would be awesome.

Leds are stupid, unless you make them different to everyone elses! IE, PIC effects, different ways to control them etc.
I think the best mods are external controllers, PIC controlled LED/PSP effects, and internal camera.

I agree that the mods above are more useful, but leds arern't stupid. there are some psp's out there that are like a christmas trees and i can't say i like them too much, but if there used sparingly then it can improve the look of the psp. Ring of light, led triggers even an led under the d-pad and the gaming buttons are great. but still, the psp's with 20 of the bloody things is mad. plus the battery time must be serverly shortend.

lolwut o.O you do know how miniscule the power consumption of LEDs is? it doesnt impact your battery much at all.

i know, but still the more led's you add, the more power it will require make them work, hence the battery time will be affected. it may not be alot but you would notice it.

The useage is minamal, you can run 20 LED's on 2 AA batteries for over 20 hours.

Imo the dual nub mod is the best mod that is on the site as it allows for alot better handling of fps games.

Installing the razor on the slim is pretty hard. I would most certainly not recommend it as a first mod. Far to hard. You should get familiar with the parts and a soldering iron before you even attempt it. The phat is easier but again I wouldn't recommend it as a first mod. Oh and good luck UserX on installing the dual nub
