Ok here is the site i get all my parts from now f* radio shack Thay naver have what i need when i need it this site has everything for what we do..
im talking chips/buttons/modules/resisters///// everything guys and thay are reall cheap i got 20 555 timer chips from them at 20 cents a chip and after shiping it was only $7.50 and got here in 2 days. thats nice service ....

crazy idea, but http://www.westfloridacomponents.com/IC264/IC+~+Single+CMOS+TIMER+TS555IDT+~+TS+555+IDT.html  is that the same as the 8 pin from radio shack?  if so the smaller the better, just add in 2 res and a cap, and it's the size of the normal chip.

Looking more into the site, could we not get the surface mount resisters and save even more space?

yes you can. but the cmos timers will be a lot more lagger then my way using the cn or the ne 555 timers.

What about the 555d timer will it be laggy also, i mean worst cause still use the n or cn, and then get the surface mount resisters and caps, and it's still really small.
