That is great. I have never used pikey, but it seems that the psp (in the xmb) make attempts to comunicate to whatever you connect to the port, if no response it shuts down the power (after three attempts) at the serial port, am i right?
I don't know if pikey uses de debug driver (debugsio) or not, but if so this driver seems to need the headphones connected (as well as something connected to the serial) in order to power the serial port. So you are making a patch that takes full control of the serial port power?Will you release the source?
I think i saw some interesting calls related with this matter in the sdk, but not sure and neither i remember them. Could you post what functions are you calling (I'm assuming you are not working calling to hex codes).
