hey i was wondering if people can recomend both free and paid for antivirus solutions for windows xp pro sp2 and windows visa ultimate 64bit. it doesnt have to be the same one for each platform just whichever runs best on each one

i use avg8.0 on vista. its free. i would nvr bother paying money for antivirus and all that when this works just as well and its free

free still can leave viruses

i use kaspersky works like a treat and does not take much memory or cpu when scanning

I got McAfee 3user. Never in my time of having it has a trojan/backdoor/virus/script/etc gotten into my laptop. Oh, used on Vista. Will work on XP too though.

yeh i whent with kasperky and i love it barley uses resources and gets hourly updates. im just wished they did a mac version to catch windows viruses as i once gave my friend a virus without noticing it

if any of you guys are in UK and have a barclays bank account if you go online you can get kaspersky 3 pc key for free. log into online banking and there is a link there
