need help modding

someone help me tell me wat im doing wrong and if u know message me plz i keep messin up with this its annoying...i modded how they saidf to the trigger point and the led light 1. it didnt work i the took the wires off and did it again and it didnt work any reasons why? also how do you find out what make your controller is i know mine is new but i dont know how new?

There's a thread on like page 2 that has the pics telling you which controller you have.

AND. You're doing it wrong. Don't try the 1 wire method. It will only work under certain circumstances and will only work on 1 type of controller.

You know it won't work with a fully charged recharge pack or batteries, right? It'll only work when they're drained some.
