Help with no chip rapid fire
« on: September 10, 2008, 01:41:16 PM »
OK, so I tried the no-chip rapid fire. Well, I had major problems, but I am sure it is my fault. First off I broke the thing that the screw screws into in the bottom left corner of the xbox 360 controller. Second, The screw above it I think may have stripped something as I can turn it and turn it and it will not come out. Third, my right trigger is hitting the bottom and will not come out. Lastly, all kinds of weird in-game stuff. Such as not letting my sprint, not letting me zoom, making me shoot before I can move when I spawn, sometimes nothing will work and I have to just wait, and others that are all random. Some consistent ones include when I press start twice I shoot, when I reload I shoot and I think there might be one more but I cannot think of it.
Ok, so my first question is how to close the gap where I stripped and broke a screw. Super Glue? I think this might also fix the problem about my right trigger hitting the bottom of my controller. Second, what might you think caused all the weird in-game stuff? Bad soldering? Which solder?
Ok also I have a controller that the middle right trigger pin, the one you plug the switch into is broken off. Is there any way to fix that? My last question is there any places that repair controllers in or around Atlanta, GA?

Thank You,
Nickkelbackk

OK I got my case open again. Do I need to solder to one of the specific lines by the led or just on the left side of the led? Also my controller is from 2005, should that make a difference?
