Small time sellers on ebay?
« on: September 08, 2008, 02:45:36 PM »
On my grandpa's estate, He has, so many car radios.
It's not even funny.
Back in the 90's he bought a whole lot of them and was going to resell them.
Never did.
Now its my turn, lol.

So does anyone have any advice for a small time seller? ive already landed about 15 sales. Im pretty happy but their is alot more radios etc to get rid of.

The problem is, Ebay got  :censored:ing 40$ of my profit last month.
Their crooks! They charge you to list, and they get a pretty generous percentage of whatever the item sells for if you ask me.

Discuss?

Edit:
50th Post.  :censored: YA!

Ebay is ok.

They do take money to list but it takes money to run a site and why run a site like that  if you get no profit?
Good luck selling Old Radios lol

So don't use ebay? Go cry about it. That's what ebay does. They charge you for their services. Maybe you should've read first before selling there?

Got another means of selling them?
realistically?

*cries* - thar

I'm not opposed to being charged to use eBay, I'm opposed to the amount.
Code: [Select]
$0.01 - $25.00**

8.75% of the closing value

$25.01- $1,000.00

8.75% of the initial $25.00 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($25.01 to $1,000.00)

Equal to or Over $1000.01

8.75% of the initial $25.00 ($2.19), plus 3.50% of the initial $25.01 - $1,000.00 ($34.12), plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance ($1000.01 - closing value)

You dont think that's asking too much?
