Xbox 360 rapid fire mod question..

I am just wondering...

Will the no chip rapid fire mod work on this controller? http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2888081&cp=&sr=1&kw=xbox+controller&origkw=xbox+controller&parentPage=search

If it will not, what will I need?

I read in several pages that I would need a 555 timer but I have no clue how to set that up/program it/etc...

Any tutorials/answers will be appreciated.
