Can you put a psp 2000 screen into a psp 1000?

yes
but you would need to solder all the wires


thesame amount of contacts are on the slim too, but they are smaller



it doesnt fit, but with some professional solderin you can.

I'm a complete noob as soldering, maby after I get better, I'll attempt to do it, is the psp 2000 screen better then the 1000? In terms of looks and colors?

yes in fact it is. The Slim is about 30% brighter, I believe it is, and the colors look warmer and more vivid on the slim. I have a fat Psp and my brother has a slim so I knotice the difference constantly.

Does any body know about the PSP-3000 screen; you're supposed to be able to play it out side and it has 2 times the colors. I think it will be out 10/14/08.

hey d00d$ i have a customer whos son is a dumb@$$ and somehow managed to break the backlight of his darth vader PSP but not the screen. well at least i wont need a PSP slim screen BUT i dont want to have to order a slim creen just for t3h backlight or order anything at all. i ran out of money on my prepaid debit and i dont have a ride to get another one . will the backlight for a PSP 1k work in a 2000? the connectors look the same.

Just buy a cracked slim lcd with backlight off someone here.

but im 70 bucks away from a GOW PSP and i reaaaallly need the PSP, sooo, if i use a PSP fat backlight that i have about 2-3 of em, i use no money and i am 30 bucks closer to the PSP
