how to do a full hardware reset of a ps3

hardware reset 
- turn off main power switch on back of ps3 
- hold down touch sensitive button in front 
- turn on main power switch in back - wait for 2 beeps 
- all hardware should be reset

thx but when you turn on the ps3 thats when you press till 2 beeps no need to unplug or any thing else lol

All that does is reset the Display, Audio and Theme Settings, its used for when switching to another TV with a different input/display res.
