Hey,
I got a PSP Slim off amazon and it was working fine till my friend got balls wild while playing DJ max and i guess he pressed left waaay too hard, so if i press left and release the psp will hold down left for about 6 seconds. I opened my psp and i noticed right away that it was not the clear sensor but the greenish paper thin material that is stuck under the clear sensor(derp i dont know much of the lingo but i tried to look its name up, no luck
), where the left direction is pressed i can see that the concave is pressed down almost all the way unlike the other directions there isn't much of a noticeable concave. So my questions is, Is that green...stuff easily replaced? is there anyone near central CA that can fix it for a price? or is something like this not easily fixed? any help or info is greatly appreciated.
Just to clarify, I open the slim and the clear sensor is attached to the face plate with the buttons, but the side with the screen where the sensor rests on when it is one piece there is that green material glued or something that is what makes the button stick because my friend pressing too hard must have dented the material to hold down longer than it should....hope that helps
