DIGG THISRedesigning the 360 Controller is very easy to do with the simple tools like fiberglass resen and bondo body filler... There are many reasons to do this comfort, gaming edge, handicapted, or just for the fun of it.. in the first part we will look at the phisical part of this mod shaping the controller for the new electronics to fit.. In part two of the tutorial we will show how to re-map the analog sticks..In part Three we will introduce a secret chip and show how to add some of our other chips like rapid fire and rapid reload.. In the final Part we will look at the finished product..
Most Parts will either be added to the shop Also you can get some insane Rapid fire kits

Xtra faceplate from coolmods.co.ukFrom a second controller cut out the right side analog stick on out side of the ring and sand down so it looks like this with the 80 grit sand paper..
Now on another controller cut out the D-Pad location on the inner circle and sand smooth also cut away the left analog to fill later..
Now what you will notice it the outer diameter of the analog fits in the inner diameter of the removed D-pad location Thank you Microsoft.. Move it around till it fits perfect
Now sand the entire controller down with the 80 grit sand paper so the fiberglass has somthing to adhere to..
Now for the fiberglass work... (
This Is very Dangerous stuff.. Do outside supervised.) you will need to mix the resen with the activater per the container directions. Make sure you have everything ready as you will have very little time to work with this material... once mixed brush some on the controller place the fiberglass mat on the controller the brush more resen on the mas working out all the air bubbles..
Once fiberglass hass cured (about 5 minutes) shape the controller with the 80 grit sandpaper...Repeat Fiberglass and Shaping untill you get the desired resultes dont panic about the minor dips and imperfections we will fix those later..
Next shoot the primer about 8 inches form the controller 3 thick coats allow 24 hours to cure..Once cured sand down with the 400 grit sand paper and look for the imperfections..
Now mix up the Bondo and the mix solution per the container instructions.. Apply Bondo to the dips and imperfections let cure for (about 1/2 hour) and sand smooth with the 80 Grit sand paper.. Repeat the Primer and the bondo process as many times as needed to get a smooth surface usualy about 3 times.
Shoot the controller With 3 more coats of primer and let cure for 24 hours... It should look really nice now..
I already moved the analog stick on the mobo (Tutorial comming soon.) im testing the fit in this picture before I paint the controller..
Ok after about five sprays of flat black and alot of wet sanding here is the finished paint job...
